Album Concept for MARINA
Inspired by the K-Pop music industry, I was inspired to create a more interactive version of MARINA'S Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land album. The elements of this album revolve around a world where Ancient Egypt and modern day New York City coexist with each other. The natural golden yellow of Egypt is combined with the rich blues of the city. The typographic elements are meant to be representative of each world and the ways they communicate such as hand-drawn hieroglyphics and city street signs.
