Postcard Series for Visit Omaha
Being born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, I grew up being surrounded by such natural beauty. I wanted to represent my hometown in a way that was playful and nostalgic, just how it always looks through my eyes as the seasons change.
Being born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, I grew up being surrounded by such natural beauty. I wanted to represent my hometown in a way that was playful and nostalgic, just how it always looks through my eyes as the seasons change.
Natural areas and landscapes were chosen as the foundation of these postcards because they emphasize the peacefulness that Omaha provides. Using photography as one aspect of these designs also shows the real and beautiful places that exist in the city. This is further emphasized through the use of hand drawn typography in a fun way with a vibrant color scheme matching the already existing natural colors in each photo.
Work completed for: College class, Graphic Design III.

All photos were taken by yours truly! I chose spots in Omaha that I find peace visiting and that I believed others would enjoy, too. Emphasizing the beautiful natural areas in Omaha was a goal of this series.

I couldn't forget the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium! The Butterfly Exhibit is one of my favorites to visit when my family and I go there. The peacocks walking around the area are always fun to see as well.

Fall in Omaha, Nebraska is always a beautiful sight to see!
